Eastern Gardens Screen Manufacture

We are pleased to have been instructed by Eastern Garden to provide sliding Shoji Screens for their new premises in Notting Hill. Eastern Garden is a therapy practice which is already well established in London.

The brief was to provide a calm and secluded area for clients in their upstairs therapy area which will be floored with tatami mats
The translucent doors will provide light and also a traditional feel to the area.

From an initial consultation at no charge on site, Director Simon Reece decided on a simple burmese teak stained redwood installation with both fixed and opening panels fitting to the high ceiling with a matching transom above the doors. The doors would slide left and right, and be supplied for onsite fixing.

We are going to detail the construction and development of the screens over the coming weeks and we start today with the first design sketches
